Hockey Journey Movie Premiere

Finally some good news…

There’s a new hockey movie!

Hockey Journey from Shutout Productions on Vimeo.

Hockey Journey (a NEW hockumentary now available) brings people together because hockey brings people together. I think we could all use some togetherness right now and, of course, some hockey!

One reason this movie is so special is because it was made possible by our family, friends and fans. We raised $16,500US through our Kickstarter campaign, and without that money we wouldn’t have been able to complete this project. Crazy, right? A LOT of people made this possible, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.

We hosted a red carpet premiere in St. Louis on Monday, January 27th. (Video Coming Soon) It was so awesome to look into the crowd and see 400+ people. And everyone seemed to enjoy themselves AND the film! They applauded at times and laughed at times (hopefully at Greg and not me) but everyone told me it was awesome and that I should make more, so hopefully that’s possible someday. Anyways, check out these photos from the Hockey Journey premiere at The Skip Viragh Center of The Arts…

Of course there was beer! Thanks to Center Ice Brewery, but look at those beer cups!!

That's the look of appreciation because I couldn't have done this without most of those people.

So what’s this film about?

Hockey Journey, a full-length film highlighting hockey interviews and footage around British Columbia and St. Louis – The viewer follows Kane Van Gate and his friends as stories unfold of how, no matter the career, every hockey player ultimately has a lifelong love of the game and gratitude for the lessons and friendships that developed.
